Welcome to GIS and Remote Sensing.
Geology has its own data server called \\geodata and two volumes have been
assigned drive letters. All members of this class or Geology majors have permission
- the Q drive (\\geodata\vol1) is for storing files used in this class
- the R drive (\\geodata\vol2) is for permanent storage of spatial data
Make a folder in your own Q folder for storing in-class exercises.
It should be called
Q:\Students\your_W&L_username\GIS\demo
where your username is your novel login name
Copy this folder
Q:\Courses\geolgis\sharedwork\Demo\intro
into that new folder
